Hello guys,
As you know we loose our device IMEI no. due to improper flashing of recovery or ROM or due to use of wrong recovery for flashing.
We can fix IMEI with some apps like chamelephon without PC but they are temparory.
So here is the guide to fix IMEI's permanently without PC on any MTK device
Requirements -
1. Rooted device
2. Any custom recovery installed (CWM, CTR, TWRP, Philz, etc)
Steps -
1. Download all this files IMEI fix, NVRAM Fix & Baseband fix
2. Baseband Fix (do this steps only if your baseband is unknown)
- Open settings of your phone............ go to about phone.......... & check baseband..............
- If baseband is showing unknown then flash Baseband fix through recovery................. then wipe dalvik catches & reboot
- If still baseband is showing unknown then format ur phone & reboot
- Once ur Baseband is fixed .......... you can follow steps below
3. If your baseband is not Unknown or it is already fixed then skip step no 2
4. IMEI & NVRAM fix -
- Open your custom recovery ............ then 1st flash IMEI fix zip then flash NVRAM fix zip .................. then click on wipe dalvik catches & then reboot your phone
5. Done ................. your IMEI's are fixed now permanently
Note - IMEI numbers will be different but u can change them by using chamelephon app

6. After compltion of this least step is make a backup of your [IMEI]Nvram backup & restore - MakeIMEIBackup

What if after all the baseband steps still doesn't work? My phone is a MT6797 and I can't seem to fix with anything from the internet.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I think is strange is in Factory Mode you cannot see IMEI or Baseband. Could that be the problem?
